Lavish Bath Box: February and May 2019

Yup, that's right. Two months that are not consecutive. That's what I'm doing.

I'm the middle of a re-read because I finally received the last two books in this trilogy. I think I like them. They're high fantasy and interesting. The covers though...I kinda adore them more for the covers.

February 2019: Love Hurts

Picture
The theme for this month was "Love Hurts" and featured two huge bath bombs. Yes, please!

From the top, left to right:
  • Love Voodoo Bath Bomb from Glitter and Gore
  • Bite Me Body Butter from Crescent City Swoon
  • Locked Away Bubble Bar from Nature's Whimsey

From the bottom, left to right:
  • Black Heart Shave Soap from Copper Cat Apothecary
  • Coal-Hearted Gold Digger Scrub from Organicare
  • Poisoned Kiss Bath Bomb from Red Ferns Bath Treats

I'm actually using the Bite Me Body Butter and I really like it. Also, my friend stole the sugar scrub because she's secretly goth at heart but there's little gold flakes on the top of the sugar scrub that I didn't take a picture of for some reason.

May 2019: Garden PArty

Picture
This month's theme was "Garden Party"

We received a candle this month (we don't always get one). I tend to not always use a candle when I'm taking a bath so I always forget to light it. I'll put one on while I read though so go figure.

So, I haven't used anything from this month yet so I can't say how it all works out.

  • Bloom Baby Bubble Bar (this thing is huge) from Moon's Harvest
  • Spring Rain Solid Scrubs from Grace and Bloom
  • Butterfly Bath Bomb from Lizzie's Fizzies
  • Honeycomb Bath Bomb from Bath Therapy
  • The Bee's Knees Soy Candle from Things Uncommon
  • Succulent Garden Butter Bar from Glitz Soap Company

I think the only thing that annoys me about all the bath products I get from Lavish or Etsy is the amount of plastic they use. I wish they could find a packaging solution that was more eco-friendly.
