Lavish Bath Box July 2020

Woo-hoo! I'm officially caught up with Lavish's unboxings. Lavish Bath Box is one of my longest running subscriptions. It delivers bath items from indie bath shops every month. It's about $38 per month and includes six items. Usually one or two bath bombs, a bubble bar, and then a variety of other bath products.

The theme of this month was "Country Fair." I have used exactly zero items from the box so I cannot talk about them too much. Most of the shops are repeats, and they've all been good.

The items included (clockwise from top left, with the middle item listed in the bottom):

  • Cosmic Carnival Salt Scrub by Mama Bass Handmade - The scent is kettle corn and sweet lemonade, which I thought smelled quite nice. I think I'll be okay with this scent as I didn't find it too cloying. This item is available in the Lavish shop in the same scent.
  • Bubble Bath Taffy by Whipped Up Wonderful - The three scents included were watermelon, strawberry, and milk & honey. These are technically bubble bars. This is also available in the Lavish shop in the aforementioned scents.
  • Rocket Pop Body Butter by Southern Skye Beauty - The scent is 'tropical fruit punch.' I prefer body butter over all other other types of body lotion but I've found that a small percentage of the colorful ones will stain unless I let them dry. This isn't a indie bath issue, I've had it with any bright color lotion. It might be me. Yikes.
  • Rainbow Snow Cone Bath Bomb by Bath Sorbet - This has a mixture of scents (strawberry, orange, lemon, lime, and blueberry) to mimic the snow cones from the fair grounds. This is available in the Lavish shop.
  • Ferris Wheel Bath Bomb by Charming Cheshires - I've ordered from this shop via Etsy before (always a wonderful experience) and I"m pretty sure I found them through Lavish. This is a decently sized bath bomb that is scented with cotton candy.

The last item is a cute little bath duck. This is the second bath duck I've received from Lavish (one was a St. Patrick's theme) and this is a dark blue, which will work in my bathroom. Lavish wrote a code on the bottom of the duck that can be input into the Lavish shop for a discount (20%) or free shipping. I'm a big fan of the duck.
