Lavish Bath Box June 2020

I'm writing this early (instead of a book post) because I know the hurricanes are going to take me out all weekend and possible week too. It's been a bit crazy in my house. My Auntie has called numerous times wanting to talk about the Fallwells (Fallwell Family?) and their sex/exhortation/blackmail etc issues. She's a big follower and this seems to have rocked her world in a bad way. I don't know what she wants from me as I'm more interested in if people from Trump's campaign softly blackmailed them for support...which my Auntie is not interested in. She's more on if the sin can be forgiven. I don't know, I'm not Jesus.

Luckily I have more bath bombs to get me through the crisis. And by crisis I mean listening to my Auntie, she's a character.

This is also the reason I'll never be a subscription box insta affiliate whatever person. I'm not a seller. I'm a gossiper. Like, sure, lets talk about bath bombs/make-up/books but only after we talk about the what the Falwell man was doing with his ding-a-ling. It's none of my business but if you're going to denounce other people you might want to wipe the shit off yourself first. Granted, this post is early, so maybe he's repented for my Auntie's worry. He's probably checked himself into a celebrity recovery clinic for some rehabilitation by now.

Right! Bath bombs! Non-sex-adjacent bath bombs. Lavish (who is not affiliated with me or the Fallwells) has a monthly subscription that I get (about $38 per month). There are about six products (sometimes more) that always include a bath bomb and bubble bar per box.

The theme of June 2020 was "Lake Escape," which is not my preferred vacation in general (lake vacays) but I still really liked this box.

There was a two bath bombs, a bubble bar, a jelly soap, a foaming scrub and a shower steamer.

Real trutch, shower steamers are fantastic during a recovery phase of my postdrone/migraine. Postdrones are the fourth stage of a migraine and for me they're just when I'm exhausted and just sit in the shower and put a steamer out for some aromatherapy. My migraines sometimes present like strokes, which is pretty scary overall. The recovery part feels like I've been in iron man training...without any training.

The products are Top Row (left to right):

Fishing Hole Jelly Soap by Savage Fish Suds: This is available in the Lavish shop. I found this had a more outdoorsy smell (woodsy?) and my youngest brother stole it so I can't say much more than that. Hurrah for teen boys taking showers? He's pretty good about that already though. Thank God.

Rise and Shine Shower Burst by Hydra Aromatherapy: This is available in the Lavish shop in different scents. I haven't used this yet but I am intrigued by the scents of tangerine and peppermint together. I usually go for peppermint and eucalyptus. I think I might have used this brand before but I don't think it's been in a Lavish box before. I'm keen on stuff like this.

Little Nibbler Bath Bomb by Bubble Boss Bath Co: This is huge! I don't think I've used it yet (it might be in the bottom of my bath bomb basket but I can't see it). The scent is vanilla and orange citrus blend.

Bottom Row (left to right):

Mushroom Huntin' Bubble Bar by Nature's Whimsy: This is available in the Lavish shop. I haven't used it yet but I have received stuff from Nature's Whimsy (a box repeat luckily) and it's always been good. It's quite a good side.

Campsite Cruisin Bath Bomb by Sweet4Fuel: Another shop repeat! How cute is this bath bomb?! I think we got something similar in a Christmas box but I like getting it again.

Lake Daze Foaming Scrub by Dose Bath Co: I haven't used this yet either (I'm behind a bit) but it's getting close to the top. I love whipped soap in general so I'm inclined to like this anyways.
