Today is starting late because I spent all morning taking the older relatives at my house to get the vaccine. So, yay on that! Hopefully, this plague will end soon. Let's get right into it. I have some letters to write and an office to clean. So, rambling needs to be at a minimum. Lavish's September box had a theme of "Fall Y'all." I always find it amusing that y'all is becoming more normal outside the Southern part of the United States. It's been awhile since someone mocked me for using it (outside of the South). So that's nice. It also just makes sense as a contraction: "you all" = y'all. Yup. Luckily, I have used some of these products, so it won't be so embarassing on my end when I "review" the product. The Sweet Sunflower Bath Bomb is a huge, hand-painted item. It does have a scent (titled "Farm to Tub" but that means nothing to me to be honest. The card says it's sun kissed sugar cane, clean coconut, and leather. I do think it smells nice. It's from Bubble Boss Bath Company. They have a bunch of other massive bath bombs. I got a giggle out of the lip shaped ones. The second large bath bomb is titled the Buck Wild Bath Bomb from Lizzy's Fizzies. It's a rustic inspired bath bomb and has a stenciled deer and flower motifs. Very rustic! I'm not sure it had a smell, but this whole box smelled nice and didn't bother me one bit. If there is a scent, it's very faint. We've received items from Lizzy's before--they're always good. I've used the sunflower bath bomb, just by itself. It turned the water blue and was lovely. I haven't yet used the deer one. I'm behind on cleaning my tub, so I need to bleach the hell out of it today. Sometimes the easiest way to clean that sucker is with the bleach. Especially after some of the bath bombs that can stain. The next two items have been used by me, so I can give a full report here. The "You're Boot-iful Bubble Bar" by Moon's Harvest. It's a large bubble bar with a mix of scents in crisp fall apples, lemon verbena, and, linden blossom. I actually only used half at a time since it's so large. While it is scented, it's faint (thankfully for my sake...or at least, my nose might be too stuffed up). I did smell more apples than the other two scents. The bubbles overtook the tub, so it absolutely did what you'd want out of a bubble bar. Plus, it's in a cute little cowboy boot shape. Adorable. There is a tint, so it will tint the water blue (but not a deep color). The next item I'm still using. It's the "Welcome Fall Body Mist" by Nectar Fresh Body. This is the strongest scented item in the box (this includes the candle!). There seemed to be different scents available, but I received the Apples and Caramel, which seems to be a mix of apple, caramel, sugar, and vanilla. I tend to use the body mists as something to scent the water. So I don't use it on my skin at all, but instead spray some in the water. It tends to create a lightly scented experience. I'm halfway through this bottle (still using it!) and I've been enjoying the continued "fall" scent...even through the winter. The last two items were a candle and foaming body scrub. The candle is in a miniature mason jar...which is so stinking cute. I love mason jars...but I am southern, so perhaps that's just normal. The candle is called the "Midwest Fall Mini Mason Candle" by Candle Barn Company. The Candle Barn has wax melts, large, and mini candles. The scents are spicy nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, and all spice. It smells really nice. I haven't burned it yet because I'm working through a Target candle called Champagne Kiss. The body scrub is called "Sweet Tea Sugar Scrub" by Bath House Soap. It's a lathering scrub scented in tea leaves, lemon, and sugar. I adore tea in any form (sweet tea is amazing though). I haven't used it, but have smelled it and it is lovely. These are my types of scents. I'm still using the body scrub from October (almost done!) so hopefully I'll get to this one soon.
