Lavish Bath Box: Winter 2021

4/7/2022

I pretty much get all my bath supplies from Lavish. It's just easier. Plus, any leftover items make fabulous gifts.

Well, I'm only one...or two boxes late here. I'm still going to blame Putin. Fucker.

Lavish is a seasonal box now, and each box comes with a booklet. So far, they've all begun with a note from Katie (the owner and founder). After that there's an itemized list of the products and shops. After that are a couple deep dives with a few of the shops. My dorky heart loves this stuff.

First up, the whipped soap and sugar scrub from Pacha Soap. I thought this was so cute. It's a gentle scrub/wash. The decor on the bottle was adorable and very thoughtful. There were two scent options, one was "peppermint twist", and the other was "sugar and spice" (vanilla and clove). I received "Sugar and Spice."

Second, a foaming bath salt soak from Savage Fish Suds. Savage Fish is a repeat for the box, and they always do well. After a good wash, the container is reusable...which is great for regifting purposes. I'll probably put a cocoa mix + marshmallows for a quick stocking stuffer. There were two scent options, "Peppermint Bark" or "Gingerbread Cookie." I received "Gingerbread Cookie" which make me zero for two on getting those lovely mint scents that I love!

Third, a Turkish Hand Towel from Samimi. This is a 100% Aegan cotton towel in a neutral and blue colorway. I thought it was really pretty! The towel matches my bathroom color scheme, but I've been using it as a mini tablecloth when I attempt Gong-fu tea. I tend to spill more than I mean too. Samimi has a "Behind the Brand" section of the pamphlet. I've used the towel as background for all these images.

Fourth, A Winter Wonderland Bath Bomb by Charming Cheshires. I love bath bombs! This one is in the shape of a snow globe and is painted for a more colorful effect. The scent is a mix of mulled mandarin, cranberries, spicy cove, and pine needles. There is also a six question with the owner of Charming Cheshires.

Fifth, hand and body lotion by Aria Rose. I love lotion, like LOVE it. The CGRP drug I'm on helps with my migraines but has given me dry skin. I can NEVER have enough lotion. NEVER. There are five scents, "Toasted Almond (sweet almond and tobacco), "Pink Champagne" (apricot, brandy, and sparkling bubbly), Cozy Flannel (tonka bean, jasmine, patchouli, and vanilla), Blonde Woods (vanilla bean, apple, bergamot, and musk), and Golden Hour (citrus zest, pineapple, strawberry, and raspberry). I received Blonde Woods, which is a lovely scent to me.

Sixth are shower fizzers from Bolli and Fritz. The scent is called "Frosted Cranberry" (red fruit and fallen snow). I don't think I'm great with shower steamers because there really isn't a place for them to not get wet in my shower but that hasn't stopped me from using them.

I laughed at "Do Not Eat" but you know some numbnuts would totally eat them. Probably thinking they were candy at first. (it's me...I'm the numbnuts).

Seventh is a solid perfume from Bath House Soapery. I'll be honest, I'm not an expert on scents. I haven't been able to wear any for the longest time (migraines) and now I can do really light scents. I think these are good, but I find them stronger on me if I don't take care to have a light touch. There were two options for scents, one was "sandalwood vanilla" or "honey pear." I received Sandalwood Vanilla.

Last is a smoothing Lip Scrub from Artisan Bath Co. There are two flavors, "Mean One" (Green Apple) and "Frosty" (Peppermint Vanilla). I received Frosty, so that's one minty item! Yay!

There's a page that includes discount codes to several of the shops, up to 20% in some cases. The next section is the 2022 Shipping Schedule (There's three pages, but I only included one here).

The last page shows the social links for Lavish.
