"Me-Time Magic"

I've really got to get my photos together. Like, maybe do a full 2021 catch up in one post? Might as well. I've been on a total book reading streak in between friend catchups so I've done zero photo editing.

The theme of this month was "me-time magic" and had some really nice contents. Plus, a $10 coupon. Always nice.

The little fold-out has all the info for the products plus the price and any "pro-tips"

First up, a sample of Peter Thomas Roth's Cucumber Gel Mask. I've had the full size of this before. It's a nice cooling gel mask. I like his pumpkin enzyme mask better, but that's a personal thing there. This mask has Cucumber, papaya, chamomile and aloe vera. It's a cooling and soothing mask, perfect for sun exposure, peels, or facials. The pro tip is that is can be used on tired eyes to reduce puffiness. I guess my tip is that it I put it in the refrigerator for a cooler sensation.

The second mask is from Glamglow and is the Supermud Mask. I've used this a few times and I think it's a decent mud mask, but it clogged my sink up bad (a lot of mud masks do). So, I'll be using other means of disposal for it the next go round.

The third item is a Cold Gel Eye Mask that was created for Macy's. The mask can be placed in the refrigerator for an hour or the freezer for five or ten minutes. The other side has a soft, velvety texture. The front has the words "just chillin'." To be frank, I haven't used it yet. I'm waiting to get my mini-office fridge back so I can put drinks and skin stuff in it (including the mask).

The fourth item is the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, chamomile, and lavender. I've not found a facial spray that does much for me, but perhaps I'm not using them enough? I thought this smelled nice. The pro-tip was to keep this in "your bag or workspace for a midday fresh--or five." Which isn't a bad idea. Maybe I should move one into my desk.

The fifth item is a blackberry fizz bar bath bomb from Harper + Ari. I love any and every bath bombs, so I was thrilled to get this. These cost $10, so a bit more expensive than the medium sized bath bombs (but in line with the large bath bombs I've bought...but that was a "burn book" a la Mean Girls and was HUGE. I'm not sure the price point is realistic for me. But I will gladly use this one and see if it does anything to me.

I haven't used it yet of course...I'm legit hoarding it's $10 ass.
The sixth item is Rituals Sakura Foaming Shower Gel. Rituals was/is big in the UK. Like, all my British friends LOVE them and freaked when it wasn't huge in the U.S. To be fair, it could be and I could be out of the loop. I was glad to get this in my box to try out. The scent is cherry blossom and rice milk, and I found it a pleasant scent. It starts off as gel and then turns into foam as you rub up. A full size is $12.50, which isn't the worst price for a more luxe bath soap.

The last item was Scentered De-Stress Wellbeing Ritual Aromatherapy Balm. A full size of this is $24. I've not found that scent alone helps with my stress or migraines (migraines just give me stress), but I think scent is a nice companion. The scent make-up of this is chamomile, mandarin, and neroli. The directions suggest putting this on to pulse points for tension relief. It does nothing for me, but I haven't used it while trying to meditate so maybe that would be better? At the moment I have it on my desk...buried under all my to-do piles. Defeating it's purpose.
