Macy's May Beauty Box Unboxing: Complexion Perfection

Macy's Beauty Box is my only "beauty" subscription box. If we don't count bath products. I've had it for maybe two years now and I probably won't pause or get off it anytime soon since the waitlist seems to be random on who gets on and who doesn't. Also, I do really like it. 

Anyways, this month's box is about complexion products. I received six products and this pretty pink makeup bag. I don't keep every bag Macy's sends, but I kept this one. The bag has a gold zipper. 

I kept every product from this month to try out. They were all new (except for one product). That being said...I still haven't used them. I know. I know. So behind! 

There's a booklet that comes with the subscription. It lists the products that are sent and includes a gift card for use at Macy's beauty counters. It's usually $5, but sometimes it's more. This month's was $5. 

The first three items were a mix of new and old products for me. I tried one, have bought multiple bottles of another, and the third is brand new to me. 

• Urban Decay's All Nighter Face Primer: This is a product that I've bought multiple tubes of in my lifetime. The full size is $36. It's a primer (great for a date or girls night out) that's used under foundation. I find it works just fine and I haven't yet found a cheaper version that makes me happy. 
• High's High Maintenance Cannabis Peeling Mask: This is a totally new product for me. I full size of this is $46. The booklet lists hemp seed oil and antioxidants as ingredients. I've not used Cannabis (or any form) in my skin products, so hopefully my skin won't react poorly. I do love masking so I kept this one to try out for sure. It seems like a large sample (unless it's all air). 
• Sunday Riley's C.E.O. Vitamin C Brightening Serum: A full size is $85, which can be pricey but if it works...well then! I have a few samples of this but I haven't actually used it.  I know, very weird of me! Eventually  I will use it! 

The next three items were all new to me. They were...

• Elemis Peptide4 Overnight Radiance Peel: The full size is $78. This has AHAs and nourishing botanical oils. It's meant to stay on all night. I'm kind of excited about this product. I love AHAs and absolutely kept it. 
• Bareminerals Ageless Retinol Treatment: I need to start a retinol but haven't. Mostly because I was going to ask my dermatologist but with Covid-19, I haven't gone to see her. Anyways, this is a vegan, plant-based retinol alternative. The full size is $62. I'll have to do more research, but it's cool that it's vegan. 
• Marc Jacobs Perfect eau de parfum: I'm not familiar with this scent at all. The 3.3 oz. size is $128. The booklet describes it as bright and feminine. The Macy's website lists the notes in more detail. The top notes are Rhubarb and Bright Daffodil. The middle note is Almond Milk. The bottom notes are Cedarwood and Cashmeran (a type of musk). I'm going to give this perfume a go, but it's always a personal toss-up for scents isn't it?
