Mishibox: June and July 2019

9/11/2019

So at the end of July or beginning of August, Mishibox canceled my recurring subscription and went MIA. I'm not out any money and I do know they're moving to NYC and their shop is closed but like...I'd like to know more. When are they coming back for instance?

I haven't heard of anything from them since so...that's a bit odd.  Complete radio silence.

I can't recommend at the moment but before they were pretty reliable and the one time I had to contact customer support they were fantastic. So no idea what's happening but uh...I have a skincare stash. So I'm okay. Which, of course, is only important to me.

Mishi sends a card explaining what each item is and how it's used. This is the first pink powder I've ever received but I bought one from Besame recently so I have two now! It's translucent--not pink on your face.

The only thing I've used is the sheet mask from A'pieu. I didn't notice any strong scents and I think that's probably a good thing. It's a standard face mask with a little extra essence to run on your neck.

I put the sheets below, but (just in case) here's what's included in June's Mishibox:
  • MCC Perfect Brightening Cleansing Balm - Balms are my second favorite first wash items. I really like gels the most but haaaaate the water type things. First step washing is great for me because I wear sunscreen and makeup so this takes it all off and preps my face for cleanser.
  • Dr. Sims Hyalu Pill Mask Sheet - aren't these cute? These are dry masks where essence is added to make your own mask. This is good for the last drops of things.
  • MCC Perfect Finish Pore Pact (Powder) - Fairly standard but sturdy compact. It's pink in the picture (and in real life) but it is translucent.
  • Dr. Vita Premium Vita 12 Real Ampoule - I'm a tad worried about this one as there's glass involved (with safety caps). I give myself a 50% chance of messing up and ending up in the ER. But I will have nice skin so help me god.
  • A'pieu Icing Sweet Bar (Orange) - The one I received was a brightening and clarifying formula. I mean, I think it was okay but you're not going to get miracle results from one sheet mask. I do like A'pieu masks though, they're pretty nice.

The translated ingredients are always nice to have. Especially since I don't read Korean and some of the products are fully in Korean. Sometimes, some countries put French on the packages and I can read that. Which is not important.

July 2019

This was the last box I received, so hopefully they'll be back soon. Maybe (?)

I think I've actually used more from this box than the other. So that's something.

The pages below are hard to read, I'll go ahead and list them below:
  • Wonder Black Rice Serum - I'm currently using this and I do like it. My skin likes it. It's a thin serum that seems to absorb quickly.
  • Milky Dress Aqua Sun Cream - I haven't used this one yet. I'm using up the second bottle of my Tarte sunscreen (which smells pretty good).
  • MediHeal Vita Lightbeam Essential Mask - this is a brightening mask. I've already used this up. It's quite nice and doesn't have strong scent.
  • Missha Oil Control Film (sheets) - I always forget I have these but they're nice for oily skin. At the moment my migraine medication is making my skin dehydrated so I haven't used them at all.
  • MSolution Glow Luminous Flower Firming Mask - This has hyaluronic acid which is a nice plumping acid. I've used this as well and it's quite nice. I didn't notice any massive plumping of my skin but I tend to mask before bed so it might have been wasted on me.

The translated ingredients are always listed on Mishi, which is wonderful.
