October 2019 Macy's BEAUTY Box Unboxing

I don't quite know how I'm going to put up unboxings for the rest of the year onto next year but I'm hoping to get it all organized during the vacation...which I might work through anyways. it's the stupid cold I had. It's put me way behind at work.

Macy's box is a new box for me and it's what I wished Sephora (with all it's connections to LVMH) would have been. I wanted new brands, brands that were established and brands that I might not pick up but that would have my next holy grail. I'm not sure there are any "themes" for the boxes but the pamphlet talked about clean beauty.

There was no bag in this one, but that's okay. Instead Macy's included a Muslin facecloth. I like them because I use them on occasion (like how you would use them with the Liz Earle face wash and hot cloth method). I thought this was a nice little add on and it's thin enough to breathe through but it's been good to use. It's the one thing I've tried from the box!

What was included in the box:
  • Origins Plantscription Power Serum: It's plant based and the full size costs $78. I don't actually have a lot of Origins in my collection but it has a good rep and I'm still on a search for a serum that I really like.
  • BareMinerals Deluxe Mineral Veil: Bare Minerals is not in my collection either but since the medication I'm on has affected my skin (super dry now) my whole routine is kinda changing so I'm up for trying a new powder. Full size is around $30.
  • Elemis Superfood Face Wash: I don't have any Elemis in my skincare hoard either. I'm using a cleanser from Mishibox (which is still MIA) that's a powder (you mix with water). It's neat but I'm not sold on it yet. I'm happy to add this to my line-up for eventual use. The full size is $25.

  • Pur No Filtering Blurring Photography Primer: I have two lipsticks from Pur (from their Barbie collection, it had sparkles and I was a goner) but I think that's it. I'm intrigued by their packaging which is not why you buy things but boy am I affected. The full size is $33 and the tube we got to try seems to be quite full. I'm using the Becca primer from a previous Macy's box so I haven't tried this yet.
  • Koh Gen Do Pure Cotton Pads: I have some Koh Gen Do micellar water (not tried). The full size is 60 pieces for $15.
  • Fur Furyou Wash Cloth: Completely new brand to me. I laughed when I saw them because I thought the name was fun enough.  While Fur has products for your lady regions this wipe is a full body wipe, which is good for a post yoga workout wipe down. A whole box is about $22.
