Postmark'd May 2021

Oh gosh. May 2021? The Pandemic really wrecked me didn't it?

Well, I mean it did. I stayed on my couch for most of it and binged true crime shows. Uuuggghhh....

Postmark'd is a card subscription service that I desperately need. I don't really have a nice shop for that stuff where I live. It's a bit of a bummer. Lots of monogram places...but my monogram isn't thrilling. Anyways, May 2021 had a lovely spring theme.

There's a card that talks about the theme: "Blossoms and Bees" as well as the cards and items included. On the other side is an explanation of how to create a wax seal with crayons. I actually have wax beads because I got INTO wax seals (I bought a Mucha inspired one recently) over the plague years.

The wax seal can be seen via the mini envelope. It's a bee set against a hexagonal background. A wooden handle was also included, which is nice.

I have used this one (I have another bee seal that isn't as detailed) for wax seals and it works really well. I've not done the crayon thing, so I can't comment on how it works for that.

Our first card has a compostable envelope (I suppose all envelopes are compostable...but still). This has seedlings within the envelope. It's a neat idea!

The next three cards are "Bee" themed. Well, one is "Bee and Blossom" themed. They're all quite cute! I haven't used any of them yet. I'm working my way through a small stack of older cards that I found the other day.

The included letterpress postcard is super cute and vibrant. I sent this out right away!

It's thick card stock and it was bright orange! Lots of room for the address and writing (and I appreciated that the demarcation line between the address and message was off center to give more room for the message. That's thoughtful!).

The last card is so elegant! It shows a single gold bee and a beautiful flower. I'm not sure what type of flower though, is it a peony?

As well as the wax seal stamp, we received a sticker sheet! Lots of cute bees and flowers! I decorated a few envelopes with them.

I LOVE the stamps that were included. They are contemporary USPS stamps showing a fairground. I haven't used them because I can't bear to break them up yet. I've debated getting an additional booklet. There are four stamps in the set below, you can see he outlines in the first image. What a create way to present stamps. Brilliant!
